ABSTRACT:
Considering that during the lockdown generated by the Covid-19 pandemic, many professionals and companies adapted to the remote working modality, known as home office, and as a result of this adaptation, it was possible to analyze that the costs and benefits for employees and employers, in certain professional categories and specific occupations, made the maintenance of this remote work format attractive, even in the post-pandemic period. Therefore, in an analytical and objective manner, it is necessary to comprehend the complexity of implementing and ensuring labor rights, specifically for this mode of professional service provision. Consequently, the regulation, supervision, and standardization of remote work modalities, as well as of companies and the professional’s workplace, are of paramount importance, as only through this effective approach can rights and obligations be guaranteed in this new form of employment relationship. For this purpose, the research employed an applied and qualitative methodology using legal and bibliographic documents on the subject.
