ABSTRACT

This study focuses on the evaluation of soil improvement methods, such as compaction, chemical and mechanical stabilization, in engineering projects. The research problem addressed was to identify the most effective soil improvement techniques and their practical applications. The central hypothesis suggested that different techniques would be more suitable for specific types of soils and project requirements. The aim was to evaluate the effectiveness, sustainability, and applicability of these techniques in various engineering scenarios. The methodology adopted was based on a detailed analysis of technical literature and specific case studies, focusing on the most recent and innovative practices in the field. The results indicated that each technique has its specific advantages, depending on the characteristics of the soil and the project. It was concluded that the proper selection and application of soil improvement techniques are crucial for the success of engineering projects, highlighting the importance of sustainability and innovation in the field.
