The use of natural pharmaceutical inputs and/or natural nanobiotechnological inputs, more biocompatible with the human body, provides health and environmental benefits. According to scientists Araújo, Giudici & Sousa, in 2019a, b, c, d, the demand for the consumption of biodegradable, natural, and sustainable products that preserve the environment is crucial.

In this context, the development of sustainable and technological cosmetics with natural components, combined with biotechnology, is essential to minimize environmental impact. Therefore, it is important to develop new proposals for cosmetics with natural components derived, for example, from microalgae extract combined with nanotechnology, aiming for minimal environmental impact due to the growing beauty market worldwide.
