Structural Inequalities and the Role of the Public Prosecutor's Office ACCESS TO Social Justice BY THE UNDERPRIVILEGED
Felippe Gonçalves Fernandes
ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze the role of the Public Prosecutor’s Office in addressing structural inequalities, considering access to justice for the socioeconomically disadvantaged from a Habermasian perspective. Through a bibliographic and doctrinal review, it was observed that the tireless defense of the fundamental rights of the socioeconomically disadvantaged positions the Public Prosecutor’s Office as an agent of social transformation, contributing to the construction of a more equitable and just order. Thus, the analysis from the Habermasian perspective reinforces the importance of the Public Prosecutor’s Office as a protagonist in realizing democratic ideals, promoting social justice, and ensuring access to justice for those who have historically been marginalized.
Keywords: Inequality. Access to justice. Hyposufficient. Public ministry.
