SUMMARY
The implementation of technological innovation management by organizations can bring several positive impacts, including increased competitiveness and improvement in the company's productive activities, which favors the creation of different organizational models and changes in the ways in which knowledge is conceived and in working methods. With the same thought, this work aims to present how the company Siemens uses this type of management in the three sectors in which the company operates: Industry, Energy, Healthcare. Coming from these sectors, the company has approximately 58 thousand active patents and notifies approximately 8 thousand inventions per year in its 178 Research and Development centers distributed around the world. This case study is the result of qualitative and descriptive research. In general, the results presented through this study make it possible to affirm that the management of technological innovation presented, in the case studied, receives the importance defined by the different authors researched. To this end, the company invests in R&D, presenting an increasing number of patents and innovations notified during the year. Topics relating to strategic planning, promoting an environment conducive to knowledge exchange and investment in the company's professional staff, training and developing teams, were also covered. It is therefore concluded that the management of technological innovation adopted by the company has a systemic vision, acting integrally throughout the organization, ensuring that budgets in the search for innovation are adequate.
