ABSTRACT
This article aims to detect conditions that contribute to the non-acceptance of vaccination by the population, as well as
expose the importance of adherence to vaccination, especially in the midst of a pandemic such as the new Coronavirus
(Sars-Cov-2). To this end, the methodology of this study was based on an integrative literature review, qualitative in
nature. In view of the studies analyzed, it was identified that fake news are the main factors that hinder the approval of vaccination by the Brazilian population.
Together with other factors such as vaccine reactions, unproven efficacy, high number of vaccines and doses, they point
to conditions that interfere negatively in Brazilian vaccination campaigns. In a critical moment, such as the Covid-19
pandemic, adherence to vaccination is extremely important for the reduction of severe cases, deaths, and eradication of
the disease. The public can ensure that only scientific and reliable information about vaccination is shared, to reduce
false news that interfere with vaccination adherence.
