Resumo
The history of sexual education in schools has been complex, marked by significant changes over time. Initially limited or non-existent, information was often insufficient or inaccurate. However, over the decades, there has been a gradual evolution towards a broader and more inclusive understanding of sexual education. In this scenario, the role of school management in implementing effective sexual education programs is crucial. This scientific article explores the importance of school management in promoting sexual education in educational institutions. Through literature review and case study analysis, the key factors that make school management a critical factor for the success of sexual education programs are highlighted. In addition, evidence-based recommendations are presented to improve schools' ability to implement effective programs.
