ABSTRACT:

This article examines the legality and challenges associated with the implementation of affirmative action policies in the context of labor relations in Brazil. We explore the legal foundations of affirmative action policies, their implications for gender, race, and diversity equality in the corporate environment, and analyze both successful cases and obstacles in their application. Furthermore, we discuss the impact of these policies on companies and society at large, as well as future prospects for promoting gender and race equality in the Brazilian workplace.
