SUMMARY

This article investigates how school institutions approach creativity and innovation in the educational context and discusses the fundamental role of the teacher in this process. Creativity and innovation are essential skills to prepare

students to the challenges of the 21st century, enabling them to tackle complex problems, think critically and develop innovative solutions. However, many schools still have pedagogical structures and practices that do not encourage or value

appropriately organize creativity and innovation. This article proposes a reflection on the ways in which educational institutions can promote an environment conducive to creativity and innovation. This research also sought to analyze

how it is possible to create flexible learning environments that allow exploration and experimentation. Teachers need to be open to new approaches.
